A history in which it has distinguished itself as a qualified and reliable, globally recognized manufacturer of machinery and complete lines for extrusion, compounding and vulcanization of rubber and silicone.

Among the many initiatives in the 50th anniversary, COLMEC has realized:

• The expansion of the 8,800-square-meter headquarters achieved by constructing a new building alongside the existing structure to allow for further improvements in work organization and increase production efficiency. What could be better occasion than to inaugurate the building with a sober lunch at which all employees with their families gathered to celebrate this prestigious milestone with the Colombo family?

• The construction of a new Canteen to give better space for employees during their lunch break and a park called “Rubber Park” to give a chance for some relaxation before resuming work.

• The report of a Book that was written by collecting the witnesses of the men and women working in Colmec. The aim is that the entire company team would feel a sense of participation in the publishing project finalized to recounting the 50 years of the company founded by Giannino Colombo in 1973.
