Extruders and Gear Pumps
The extrusion of rubber is Colmec’s specialization and is the result of constant research and experience gained in our over 45 years of activity in the sector.
Colmec can provide a wide range of single screw extruders for rubber that are hot or cold fed with radial or tangential pins from 30 to 350 mm diameter. It is also possible to couple our gear pumps to the extruders to increase and improve performance.
Straining
Process requirements in the rubber industry are constantly growing. Strained elastomer compounds are increasingly a fundamental requirement to improve compound quality and reduce waste. Colmec offers several straining solutions, in-line and offline, fed by cold and hot rubber compounds.
