Turbo Charger Intercooler (TCI) Hose Lines

Colmec designs and builds complete systems for the production of turbocharger hoses for the automotive industry. The turbocharger hoses are used to convey high-pressure air both in the suction and compression phases and are made to withstand hydrocarbons and oil particles that could form in the cooling compressed air.

The inner surface of the tube is protected with a layer of a few tenths of a millimeter thick with fluoridated rubber or fluoridated silicone to improve its durability. Internal protection is obtained by co-extrusion between fluoridated rubber and silicone or between fluoridated silicone and silicone to which a textile reinforcement in aramid fiber and a final silicone coating is applied.

This type of extrusion consists of an internal polyamide PA layer to minimize the permeation of refrigerant gas, rubber coating, textile reinforcement and final rubber coating.

Barrier tube extrusion line
This type of extrusion consists of an inner layer of rubber, coated with polyamide PA to minimize the permeation of refrigerant gas, rubber coating, textile reinforcement and final rubber coating. Application for this product are in air conditioning systems of cars, trucks, buses and commercial and industrial air conditioning systems.
