TGS Extruders
TGS single screw extruders are specifically designed for silicone processing. They are equipped with a powered roller that can be opened for cleaning. The geometry in the feeding area is designed for better introduction of the silicone strip. The profile of the screws is designed according to the viscosity of the compound and the type of feed. They are complete with innovative thermoregulation units, electrical equipment and extrusion heads that meet the specific needs of each end user.

TSV Vertical Extruders
TSV extruders are particularly suitable for meeting the different needs of customers in extruding small tubes/profiles and especially in co-extrusion in limited spaces. The machine’s base is equipped with wheels and adjustable feet for support. The ability to rotate the extruder allows the most appropriate positioning and the best use of space.

TGS extruders with CTEf conical screw feed
To optimize and automate the process and to ensure a better quality of the extruded profile/tube, Colmec has created a new solution, the TGS extruder coupled with the CTEf (Conical Twin Feeder) unit. The TGS extruder is made with a new feeding area in which a conical screw unit is installed. The screws of the CTEf are able to receive the compound in any form of batch, strip or others and push it inside the extrusion screw at a constant and controlled pressure.
The advantages of this new extruder with conical screw feed are:
Automatic feeding without operator supervision
Control of the supply pressure
Absence of air bubbles within the extruded profile/tube
Better and consistent profile quality/extruded tube
For cleaning operations, the feeding unit is easily removable from the extruder.

GP gear pumps
In combination with extruders, the gear pumps specifically designed by Colmec to give the following advantages:
- Less heating of the compound with the same production capacity
- Less screw and barrel wear
- Improved dimensional precision of extruded profiles due to the volumetric constancy of the gear pump
- Higher production yields due to significantly higher flow coefficients.
- The main applications are extrusion of profiles/tubes and/or filtering.
