Colmec maintains a large warehouse stocked with all the main parts for the maintenance of Colmec machines and system. A dedicated office manages the correct identification of the required details and provides the best offer and timely delivery anywhere in the world.
Technical support
The after-sales and technical assistance activities are guaranteed by Customer Service, which responds quickly to requests for maintenance, repair and restoration of the functioning of machines and systems with the support provided by our highly qualified personnel. Scheduled and personalized preventive maintenance, failure analysis, assistance, service, increase the efficiency of machines and systems, ensuring maximum reliability and economic operation of the production process.
Remote assistance
Each machine provided by Colmec is equipped with a teleservice module to provide immediate remote access, providing the customer with direct service through a dedicated VPN connection. This service allows direct contact with the customers machine(s) and identify problems in real time and resolve failures or outages directly from our facilities, thus minimizing downtime.
Revamping & Upgrading
The machine revamping and upgrade program is the best way to make your existing system more competitive. Our portfolio consists of upgrades, revamping, updates and spare parts. An upgrade of existing extrusion and mixing systems can also be useful to make the most of the machine’s potential and in many cases avoids system downtime costs. An implemented upgrade can be the best solution to keep the machine’s at its maximum efficiency and always keeping it up to date.
Start-up
The assembly and Factory Acceptance Test are carried out directly at our headquarters in Busto Arsizio, Italy. This allows us along with the customer to verify every single detail before delivery to the customer, greatly reducing assembly time and final start-ups.
Machine start-up and training
Machine start-up is a service that Colmec offers its customers for the installation of new machines or for refurbished or overhauled machines. The technical staff follows all the steps until certification is issued that proves the correct implementation of the machine and the successful testing. This task is followed by a training phase of the customer’s staff. This will permit the local operation and management of the machine. Proper operator training also allows for a more effective diagnosis in the event of faults.
