Talcing Units
TP talcing units are used to apply talc to silicone strips continuously and evenly. To prevent talcum from escaping out of the unit, the unit is designed to work in at a slight negative pressure, with a pneumatically actuated self-cleaning vacuum filter. The amount of talc that is deposited on the strip is uniform and can be varied through via dedicated touch screen panel.

Ideal for collecting strips into a basket for further “extrusion” processing.
It is possible to collect the strips regularly and precisely thanks to the movement of the trolley placed above the container to be filled. The possibility of adjusting each movement both in stroke and in speed allows any type of collection for any compound allowing maximum fill of the volumes available.

Polyethylene Packaging Unit
The polyethylene packaging unit is used when the silicone stripe cannot be talc’d. The continuous strip is automatically wrapped in a sheet of embossed polyethylene and then proceeds to collection and storage.

Powder Dosing
Colmec is able to provide automatic powder dosing systems complete with big-bag loading, weighing and dosing units inside the hopper of the CTM conical twin screw mixer.
The powder dosage is carried out automatically through the recipe set by the operator.
The speed of introduction of the powders is synchronized with the speed of the mixing screws in order to homogenize the powders with the solid products in a short time.
